Because Oberon is sexy?
I dunno. I've been trying to draw stuff other than Yuugiou lately b/c I need some moar practice if I wanna sell art and stuff at conventions. xD;; -shrug- Also I'm lacking in the roleplaying lately though that should very soon change. I hope. ( I blame work.) This guy is fucking amazing and awesome and is based off of one of the Personas in mah party in Persona 3 FES. 8D; UHM who is based off teh fsking fairy king from A Midsummer Night's Dream by teh awesome Shakespeare and soo it made me uber happy to get to draw this! 8D; Oberon is pretty cool he gets mad at his wife so he makes her fall in love with teh first thing she see's. (Typical love potion scenario) Of course, she falls in love with a man named Bottom whose head has been turned into that of a donkey's, and she swoons at him and it's funny. 8D;; -dies- I'm sorry.. it's 8 am and I'm being retarded. Drawn on Tegaki in seemingly hours. I think it took.. about 5? Technically it's not done but I lack patience so I'm figuring it won't get done and if it does then I'll just post over it or w/e. Jaa jaa. I think my coloring is improving, eh? Keeeh. I'm proud of this babeh. |

I'm not very familiar with A Midsummer Night's Dream. (I saw my cousin in the play once, but that's about it. ^-^;; ) But I do know who Oberon is. I think that this is a really great interpretation of him. ^-^ Great job!

BUT YAY. XD; I'm glad I made you fangirl. That always pleases me. Especially considering how fsking long this took. o__O It's always nice to get some appreciation. ^-^
Heheee. I didn't actually do the character design on this. I mean, I altered some stuff but the design is based on a video games version of him. I'm a tad scared to draw stuff based off how I imagine them in books. D8 >_< People might complain or sumthing? xD; I dunno.

I didn't actually make up his design here, it's from a game? xD; They use a lot of popular characters from fiction/folklore and mythology? So yazzz. But nevertheless glad the coloring and everything turned out well. o__O; It took foooreeevveerr. xD;

I really, REALLY need to play Persona D: It apparently has all kinds of cool stuff in it that I like. But either way, this pic is awesome, and I think you should definitely draw him the way you imagine him in literature sometime =3! If people complain, just kick 'em.
(And kind of a random note- have you seen Gargoyles? There's an Oberon in that too, though he's more of a "SERIOUSFACE" sort of guy.)
Well, you still did a great job on the drawing and coloring. XD
